A long-time member of the Society of Scribes and the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting [IAMPETH], I have been a freelance calligrapher, illustrator and graphic designer for over 40 years. Though I devote much of my time to environmental advocacy and stewardship through my 90-north outreach education program, I am equally passionate about visual arts, particularly calligraphy in its classical form. In many of my high-end commissions, I use authentic animal skin parchment, and quills* or reeds I often collect and cut myself. I am a Ridgefield, CT resident and a confirmed chocoholic.
